Without the help and generosity of thousands of people each year, CSS could not meet the needs of people experiencing homelessness in Eugene, Oregon. It sounds cliché, but people like you truly, genuinely make our work possible!

Make a Donation
Together we can give relief to people experiencing housing hardship and help them improve their lives.
CSS was established as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization a decade ago and continues to step up to meet the growing needs for basic shelter. Donations are the lifeblood of a nonprofit. All gifts are considered tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

Give Supplies
We can always use more supplies, especially during heat waves and winter months. We maintain an Amazon wishlist of the items we need most. When ordering, don’t forget to change the shipping address to our main office: 1160 Grant Street, Eugene, OR 97402.
Interested in holding a supply drive? Please contact community@cssoregon.org.

Volunteer
Our incredible volunteers build Conestoga Huts, prepare food for fundraising events, put on musical performances for community members, and more.

Give Through BottleDrop
Donate directly through your own BottleDrop account, or pick up blue fundraising bags at our office in Eugene. You can also plan container drives in your community or business, and then drop off the blue bags at a local BottleDrop location.

Adopt-a-Hut
Any individual, group, or organization that donates $3,000 or more can elect to have a Conestoga Hut dedicated in your name or the name of someone you choose. A plaque is placed on a Hut as a lasting symbol of your meaningful support.

Donate Firewood
Each winter, we need about 80 cords of seasoned wood (both chopped and rounds) to heat all of our Safe Spot Communities. If you'd like to make a firewood donation, please call 541-683-0836 or email
office@cssoregon.org. (Note: we don't have the resources to cut down trees.)

Take a Tour
Visit one of our Safe Spot Communities in Eugene, Oregon, where you have an opportunity to see what we do firsthand, step into a Conestoga Hut, and speak to staff and community members.

Host a Fundraiser
Launch a personal or group fundraiser! Birthdays, holidays, dinner parties, and special events can be great fundraising opportunities to make an impact on homelessness in our community. Many fundraisers are held virtually, such as on Facebook. Have questions about hosting your own fundraiser? Contact community@cssoregon.org.

Attend Events
Click on upcoming events on the calendar to learn more. You can also follow us on social media to get the scoop on all of the latest CSS happenings.

Donate Stocks
Rather than losing up to 37% of your donation to capital gains tax (bummer), direct stock gifts let us use 100% of your donation (whoo)! That way, you can make a bigger impact at zero additional cost to you.
A gift of stock made before December 31 of a calendar year may even reduce your tax burden for the year you give. (Talk to your financial advisor about possible tax benefits.) If you would like to make a stock donation, please contact community@cssoregon.org.

Planned Giving

You can leave a special legacy behind that will touch thousands of lives.
Contact community@cssoregon.org to discuss a legacy gift of cash, real estate, life insurance, equity, or personal property.
